Christmas and the New Year

I have become a home body lately so that is why there hasn't been a post in a while. I just don't do anything worth writing about! LOL

We had a wonderful Christmas with our families. We exchanged gifts with Scott's parents Christmas Eve night. Taylor got way too much from MiMi and Pappy of course. Christmas Day was spent with my Dad's side of the family. Everyone gathered at my house this year. I think I counted 28 people. It was so nice having everyone over. The kids enjoyed playing in the woods and on the back deck.

I am looking forward to 2009. I know God has a lot in store for us this year. Scott is starting his 2nd year on the FLW tour in February in Guntersville. This is one of his favorite lakes to fish, but no so much in February. He has been practicing just about every weekend. Hopefully, he will figure them out!

Taylor will be celebrating her 6th birthday in less than two weeks on the 9th. We decided to have a family gathering at our house on her birthday and then take a couple of girls to Libby Lu's that Sunday. Libby Lu's if you don't know, is a place where they makeover the girls (makeup and hair), dress them up and then they go to the front of the store and dance. It is sooo cute. We went to a party there just this weekend and Taylor had SO much fun. They are closing the Libby Lu stores at the end of the month so I figured I better go ahead and let her have a party there. And besides everything is half off, including the parties! Can't beat that!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and has a fabulous New Year!
